Content Standards:
Students will explain and give examples of how after WWII, America experienced economic growth (e.g., suburban growth), struggle for racial and gender equality (e.g., Civil Rights Movement), the extension of civil liberties (e.g., desegregation, Civil Rights Act) and conflict over political issues (e.g., McCarthyism, U.S. involvement in Vietnam). Learning Target: I can analyze the reasons for US involvement in Vietnam, & I can explain what made the conflict so difficult to win. Today's Agenda:
